Dermott’s journey into osteopathy started in his teenage years when he was diagnosed with childhood asthma. As an avid active sports participant, the dynamic issues regarding breathing and sports participation became arduous along with numerous musculoskeletal injuries peaking his interest in posture, injury recovery and prevention. As well as the wider health, fitness and well being of the individual.

In 2013, Dermott graduated with a Masters in Osteopathic Medicine and a diploma in Naturopathy from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine in London. Since then Dermott has practised within a number of multidisciplinary clinics. He also worked within the NHS Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Stanmore in the Spinal Cord Injury Centre. Here, he worked as a valuable member of the rehabilitation team. In 2018 he set out as a mobile Osteopath.

Dermott has built his reputation through his commitment to providing every patient with the highest quality treatment, service and education. He is patient centred in his approach and believes in tailoring your rehab/recovery/healing journey to your individual needs, your unique lifestyle and your personal wellness goals. Dermott’s strength is his empathetic perspective and clinical observational skills which inform his comprehensive patient assessments. Dermott is passionate about growing and developing as a practitioner and undertakes ongoing professional training so that he can give fulfil his commitment to providing every patient with the highest quality treatment and service. 

Dermott treats people of all ages, with a particular interest in sporting related injuries/rehab, neck pain, lower back pain and sciatic pain, postural/stress related pains
